M&E installation for Doncaster University Technical College
Heb Group was contracted by Willmott Dixon to undertake the design and the installation of the Mechanical and the Electrical service within the Doncaster university Technical College.
The building consisted of numerous teaching classrooms, dedicated engineering/robotics teaching spaces, science rooms, art and design rooms, IT rooms, dining hall and a multipurpose sports hall as well as a lecture theatre.
The M&E services which we installed were a gas fire heating system, gas fire domestic hot water services, classroom hybrid ventilation systems, general circulation ventilation systems, smoke ventilation systems, local extract systems, building management system, cat5 boosted cold water, boosted cold water system, organic lighting system with auto daylight dimming, Photovoltaic system, general power, data, access control, Fire alarm, cctv and security system.
The project was challenging due to the Pandemic and challenging programme constraint, but as a joint effort we handed over the project on time and within budget for the client.
