The Heb Group Enhanced A.F. Blakemore and Sons' Spar Retail Sites with Advanced M&E Installations

After a three-decade-long relationship with A.F. Blakemore and Sons, Heb Group won a contract to provide comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) installations across their Spar retail sites and service stations. This project showcased Heb Group's dedication to quality and sustainability in M&E services.

The scheme is a 300,000 square foot warehouse and an office over 3 levels. The Client was B&K and the end user is a local and long established Electronic Component company called Premier Farnell.

H E Barnes equipped the leisure facility with a comprehensive automatic control and monitoring system utilising a proprietary Building Management System designed to control and monitor all of the engineering services, including air conditioning and heat recovery.

Spar Petrol Station

This Spar outlet had an integrated Gregg’s Bakery and Subway franchise and boasted some interesting, suspended lighting features. Working to the strict legislative guidance of a petrol filling station, we delivered this project to a high standard and incorporated some innovative solutions to complex requirements.
